Good morning, everybody! Been off for a couple of weeks. Did you miss me? Sure, you did! Just a couple of random thoughts about things here and abroad. Things sure are crazy these days. Let’s peer into the abyss of the cesspool and see what oozes up.

First up is the topic of China’s “Big Whites” and the propaganda surrounding them. A lot of disturbing cellphone video taken by Chinese citizens is popping up on social media. Not for long mind you, as the videos disappear almost immediately. The Chinese government must have a dedicated team employed solely to remove such posts. The “Big Whites” are Chinese police and “health monitors” tasked with rounding people up. They are dressed in puffy white moon suits and helmets with very small visors. You cannot see the faces of the Big Whites to ID them. Imagine the Michelin man mates with Gort the robot. Gort was featured in the movie “The day the earth stood still”.

These Big Whites are shown rounding up and beating. punching and screaming at ordinary folks. Thier crime? Someone in the building or on the block they live on has Covid19. The Michelin men can break down doors, use fists and batons for this “task”. Anything, including butterfly nets to catch and subdue their prey. You don’t have to be positive for Covid, only live in the neighborhood. The Chinese government is making these brutes out to be big, playful friendly sorts. They bombard the airwaves with happy videos of dancing, helpful, gentle giants. Ahh the power of propaganda and totalitarianism. The West sees the truth that Chinese citizens are living. Let’s go to gun violence next, shall we?

The nation is rocked yet again by two more mass shootings. Racist motive in Buffalo NY, and an unknown motive for the Uvalde TX school massacre. The one commonality: both shooters were 18 years of age! Both looked like the teens they were and both in need of acne cream. Maybe they couldn’t get a prom date. Who knows what sets off a teenage boy? Seriously, when the constitution was written the framers used muskets and single shot muzzle loaders. These were used for defense and hunting. They could not have imagined anything like an AR 15 semi-automatic rifle and the bullets they fire. My friend and neighbor hunts with a muzzle loader. He takes the occasional elk and pheasant home and into the freezer they go. I assume it to be lethal enough to protect his family from an intruder.

Back in the day, you couldn’t own a cannon. But today we can own battlefield weapons for what? SAMs to take down ducks and pheasant. Toss grenades into herds of elk or deer? Bazookas to fire at road ragers? Mortars to clear stands of trees? Flame throwers to light the ole BBQ. All satire aside, the heavy weaponry available today is over the top. At the very least they should not be available to purchase at 18 rears old. You can’t even buy a drink in most states before the age of 21. And don’t lower the drinking age to 18 years old! Then we could have teens drinking and using battlefield weapons legally. Perfect.

Now for the moron of the month award: Louie Gohmert congressman from Texas, come on down! In a rant, this nitwit said, “If you’re a Republican, you can’t even lie to Congress or the FBI, or they’re coming after you”, “They’re gonna put ya in the DC Jail”. I think lying to Congress is against the law. Period. In America. Not a Republican/Democrat issue. It is known as the rule of law! I guess they don’t teach Civics anymore in Texas. Oh, by the way, Louie (Gomer Pyle) Gohmert is a LAWYER!!! This wasn’t even close. Congrats Louie.
