Well, here we go, tripping down memory lane. Former mayor of New York city Rudy “Jules” Giuliani has been nominated for the Golden Guava award in the category of most incompetent legal performance in a deposition. While certainly much deserved in a crowded field, it is still disturbing on so many levels.
After admitting that he found the “evidence” of massive voter fraud involving Dominion voting machines on a “Facebook or media post somewhere” and that “They all look as one to me” Jules went on to babble about Antifa, Hugo Chavez and anything else that oozed from his brain then into and out of his blow hole. I’m no lawyer, but usually the less info volunteered the better. Here are some examples of award-winning nuggets of incompetence:
“We had a report that the heads of Dominion and Smartmatic, somewhere in the mid-tweens, you know 2013, 2014, whatever, went down to Venezuela for a get-to-know meeting with [President Nicolás] Maduro so they could demonstrate to Maduro the kind of vote fixing they did for [former President Hugo] Chavez,”
“Yes, that’s what I was told. … Before the press conference I was told about it,”
“Sometimes I go and look myself — when stuff comes up. This time I didn’t have the time to do it.”
“It’s not my job, in a fast-moving case, to go out and investigate every piece of evidence that was given to me. Otherwise, you’re never going to write a story. You’ll never come to a conclusion,”
“One of the Smartmatic patent holders, Eric Coomer, I believe his name is, is on the web as being recorded in a conversation with ANTIFA members saying that he had the election rigged for Mr. Biden,”
“It’s not my job in a fast-moving case to go out and investigate every piece of evidence that’s given to me,”
“Why wouldn’t I believe him? I would have to have been a terrible lawyer… gee, let’s go find out it’s untrue. I didn’t have the time to do that.”
Well, that is certainly a savvy legal mind in action! All this would be funny if it were not for the fact that all this crazy talk about the “rigged election” did not divide this nation up to the very edge. You will also notice that all the conservative cable outlets that screamed about the alleged Dominion voter fraud have all kept silent regarding this since being sued by Dominion in a multi-billion-dollar case. The reason: no evidence to back up their claims!
Now I ask, is this the work of an evil genius in a deliberate attempt to mislead the nation and help a defeated presidential candidate cling to power? Or is it the signs of late-stage dementia at play here? YOU BE THE JUDGE.
