The Presidency of Donald Trump will go down in history as the most impactful in the history of this country regarding our justice system. I don’t just mean the three Supreme Court justices that were nominated/appointed/stolen with a big assist from Mitch “Turkey Neck” McConnell (sorry Mitch, but you really deserve that, you bastard). I also mean the hundreds of federal judges and jurors too. They really came through for the Heritage Foundation and the religious, hypocritical radical far right by overturning the 49-year abortion law. This, despite saying how much you respected precedent. Despite a prior affirmation after a prior challenge. You did indeed lie Justices Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett in your confirmation hearings. A good Confession with your parish priest will set your lying souls free. But when it came down to overturning the 2020 election, even some of your appointed judges would not throw our democracy under the bus to kiss your hemorrhoid infested ass, Donald. They came through on the side of democracy! There is a God after all!

But this goes deeper than that. In the criminal judicial system, you still need a unanimous decision by the jury to convict. With our nation so polarized, there will be more often than not, a Trumper willing to vote to acquit after the prosecution has made a rock-solid case. Evidence be damned, the defendant clearly guilty. And this is not just about the guilty going free. This is also about justice for victims being denied. This is the reality we are living in today. The entire court system has been politicized and I don’t think we can put the genie back in the bottle. Just when we didn’t think this could get any worse…
